Are you a mid-career professional in job search mode longing for the support of others going through the same challenges?
Do you want to be inspired, and held accountable, to persevere in your job search?
Are you local to the Bay Area and available during the day to meet with other professionals?
If you answered yes to all of the above, you may be a great fit for a small-group experience we began piloting October, 2017.
In the group, facilitated by an experience career consultant, we discuss mindset, readiness, successes, and failures encountered by group members during their job search. We provide the support structure to allow individuals to work through their challenges. We present alternate viewpoints and challenge group members to think in ways they may not be used to. In addition, we present information on specific topics pertinent to the needs of the group which may include:
- practicing networking and developing your support structure
- making a daily plan of action and getting things done
- overcoming obstacles that get in your way
- eliminating beliefs that impede your progress
Note: This is not a class; it is a supportive forum that meets in-person on a weekly basis to provide encouragement, feedback, and accountability as you progress through an active job search.
You must have reached a certain point in your job search to be eligible to hold one of the 10 seats in the group, including developing your personal branding, pinpointed your ideal job, and be actively networking to acquire it.
The format is as follows for this exciting pilot program:
- 90-minute sessions held weekly at our offices in Alameda, CA.
- Sessions scheduled every Wednesday from 10am to 11:30am
- The minimum group size is 4 and the maximum size is 10
- There are minimum requirements to join this program

- There is a small, one-time registration fee to join the program to cover administrative expenses

I LOVE LOUISE… she is just a wonderful spirit and angel to me….One sentence magic sometimes! I think she is an amazing and smart person. She is perfect for me and I have made so much progress in sorting through both the business stuff and the medical stuff.

Working with Louise was one of the best investments I made in myself and my career. Her ability to listen and reflect back to me the workplace dynamics I could choose to respond differently to was invaluable to me. Her perspective allowed me to shift my own perspective and clarify why I created the job I have and uncover the core of my dissatisfaction. Louise is also a very compassionate person who I felt completely comfortable with as the layers of my dissatisfaction came up. I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for some clarity about their career.
