The life-changing magic of crafting your compelling career story

Ready to start looking for a job, but can’t seem to get your resume in the shape you want?

I’m leading an intimate workshop this Saturday, 9/22 at the Phoenix workspace in Alameda from 9 am to 1 pm. I developed this workshop after speaking with people who had taken previous workshops with me that focused on how to reinvent their careers and they asked for help with resume writing, job search strategy, and interview prep.

How many of us are up late at night and start obsessing about getting a new job? How many times do we think, “I need to update my resume,” only to have that urge squelched by a work emergency, a sick child, something breaking in the kitchen?

How often do we buy a book or read a how-to article on writing a resume, only to get into it, get frustrated, and give up? Or sit down to do a rewrite and end up with something that’s very similar?

What if you could take that desire, take that learning, but do it in a concentrated time frame with an expert who can help you along the way?

That’s what this resume workshop is for!

The workshop focuses on fine-tuning your resume right on the spot with guided work to help produce one that gets noticed and shows potential employers where you intend to go next. Bring a job description, your resume rough draft, and your laptop, and show up ready to roll up your sleeves!

Bonus: Enroll in the resume workshop and receive an additional 25 minute, 1-on-1 consultation with me after the workshop to further strategize your professional positioning ($150 value).

And, there’s more…

This is a two-part offer. If you want to take this further, I’m doing a second workshop on how to craft your own personal job search strategy in October!

To enroll in one or both of these or to get more information, go here and I hope to see some of you on Saturday in Alameda at 9 am!
